Transdisciplinary learning is an innovative and established educational approach that has gained prominence in response to the evolving needs of our rapidly changing world. 

This approach brings together students and academics from various academic disciplines and community perspectives to tackle complex societal challenges collaboratively. It has been implemented successfully in many institutions as a means to equip students with the skills and mindset needed to address real-world issues that require diverse expertise and perspectives.  

Rather than experimental, transdisciplinary learning is seen as a forward-thinking and effective approach to higher education. 

There is a large and growing body of literature that both explores and critically analyses transdisciplinary learning in a tertiary setting.
